A powerful event to influence and help encourage change
TEDx Strathclyde is a series of independently organised TED events by students at the University of Strathclyde. They asked us to create a brand new website for the event, promoting it to a larger audience.
“Design a website to promote the event, sell tickets and reach a larger audience out with the student pool.”
We started from scratch and created a brand new website for the annual event, including links to buy tickets and a programme for the 2018 edition, held together by a simple yet effective layout.
We also created the option of seeing the previous TEDx events and the individual talks from the university, giving the user an immersive experience of what it is like to be at an event and what they can expect from the next version.
With streamlined integration to social media platforms, TEDxStrath could easily communicate information and updates to followers and potential attendees.
The 2018 event, ‘Inside Out‘ was one of the most popular events to date, with a large percentage of the audience coming from outside of the university. This was a result of efficient social media promotion and a modern website with high SEO value.
We look forward to working with the TEDxStrath team again for next years event!
