Luxury living in the heart of the highlands
Located in the Cairngorms national park, Killiehuntly is a 17th century Farmhouse and cottage like no other. While the farmhouse remains traditional on the outside, the award winning interior has been designed with an unmistakable Scandinavian influence. Killiehuntly approached Wigwam to help with their social media accounts, in particular their Instagram feed.
“Increase engagement on Killiehuntly social media pages and encourage interaction and bookings with new and existing followers.”
Consistent scheduling helped to give Killiehuntly a presence in their followers feeds. We worked on telling stories through specifically selected groups of images.
To go along with the imagery, we authored short stories. We then drew from these to produce carefully crafted captions. These engaged followers and opened up a dialogue between the farmhouse and customers, new and old.
CREATION OF VISUAL IDENTITY
All this, coupled with cohesive editing of imagery came together to build a unique and recognisable visual identity for Killiehuntly.
We increased Killiehuntly’s following by over 50% within the space of a month (▲ 600+ followers). Having been sitting at around 1,000 followers for a considerable amount of time, our work had an instant impact, using tactics that Killiehuntly could continue to employ going forward.
The month also saw a rise in the average number of likes by over 100% to 250+. Engagement also rose considerably with pictures receiving 10+ comments and followers expressing their interest in visiting. The platform became a simple and responsive way for customers to start a dialogue with Killiehuntly.
